Lauren and John chose Hardwick Hall Hotel for its countryside warmth and timeless character — and the venue gave us everything: grounds that hold golden light in the late afternoon, and rooms with enough character that nothing needs staging.
We filmed from bridal prep — Lauren’s mam tying the dress at the back, the finishing touches — through the ceremony, confetti, and the group photos (run from a list, fast and kind). Then twenty golden minutes with the two of them in the grounds while their guests started on the drinks.
By the first dance, the film had its ending: half a song of the two of them, then everyone they love called onto the floor.
